Liberty and Nothing Less

George Washington was the indispensable man in US history. He well understood the natural character of government and led the fight for American Liberty against oppression. Unfortunately today we Americans are still fighting the same fight except it is not against a foreign government but our own.

I leave you with a final thought by syndicated radio talk show host Paul Harvey to ruminate:

They have gun control in Cuba. They have universal health care in Cuba. So why do they want to come here?

Positive News: Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less

At the time of this post over 360,000 concerned and outraged Americans have signed AmericanSolutions.com Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less petition. Is it having an effect though?

A report that came out a few days ago points out that support for the bill may be waning. Take a moment to read this article on CNNMoney.com about the declining support of the Warner-Lieberman bill. I only hope that this report is true.

If you haven't signed the petition yet please take 30 seconds of your time to let Congress know that this bill is not in the best interest of Americans. Then take a moment to email your Senators.
