State is the name of the coldest of all cold monsters.

Coldly it lies; and this lie slips from its mouth:
"I, the state, am the people."

Liberty and Nothing Less

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force.
Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

-George Washington

George Washington was the indispensable man in US history. He well understood the natural character of government and led the fight for American Liberty against oppression. Unfortunately today we Americans are still fighting the same fight except it is not against a foreign government but our own.

I leave you with a final thought by syndicated radio talk show host Paul Harvey to ruminate:

They have gun control in Cuba. They have universal health care in Cuba. So why do they want to come here?

Presidential Nominee (L) Bob Barr Speaks with Glen Beck

There is one other person that all Americans should seriously consider in the upcoming election. The man I speak of does not have the tacky cliché's like 'hope' and 'change' to fool voters and bring attention away from their own dangerous policies that will limit people's freedom of choice, that will increase entitlements that seek to enslave people to a life of unhappiness, and that will move us further from the protections against government that our founding fathers created for us.

The man I speak of is Libertarian Presidential Nominee Bob Barr. Bob Barr is a former Republican Congressman from Georgia from 1995-2003. He led the impeachment trials against former President Bill Clinton and has spoken out against big government for well over 2 decades.

On June 6th Bob Barr spoke with conservative radio and television pundit Glen Beck for a full hour on his policies.
