George Washington was the indispensable man in US history. He well understood the natural character of government and led the fight for American Liberty against oppression. Unfortunately today we Americans are still fighting the same fight except it is not against a foreign government but our own.

I leave you with a final thought by syndicated radio talk show host Paul Harvey to ruminate:

They have gun control in Cuba. They have universal health care in Cuba. So why do they want to come here?

Is Obama Ready?

Is Obama ready to lead? What has he done? Does he have the experience necessary ready to lead the country onto the world stage and take over the world's most powerful position? Is Obama ready?

These are all questions that must be answered and so far I think I can see that the answer is a resounding no! He was a member of the Illinois State Legislature for 1 year before running for the his 2 year term in the US Senate. Take away the time he has been campaigning and he has only 1 year of real experience in the US Senate. Is Obama ready?

He says we must negotiate without any preconditions with our enemy's. He says we must raise taxes in a declining economy. He says we must create a nationalized health care program that has failed in every other country it has been introduced in. He wants to make the US subservient to United Nations laws that would restrict our right to own firearms and increase our tax burden. Is Barak Obama ready?

He is friends with former terrorists who say they wish they would have done more attacks and pastors who denigrate America. Obama is subservient to the special interests who favor not drilling for oil or build refineries to help bring energy prices down. Is Obama ready?

Take a look to see what other Democrats say about Barak Obama and his readiness to lead. If they have questions about his readiness and experience, why shouldn't you?
